RoomZ is built and maintained by MacSoft Labs, a software company based in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. It started with a simple frustration: the property management systems available to local lodges were expensive, foreign, and never quite fit how a Zimbabwean safari property actually runs — from ZIMRA fiscal rules to agent contracts to the restaurant charge that has to land on the right room folio.
So we built our own, from the ground up, as a working replacement for legacy systems at real properties. Every feature exists because a front-office manager, a stock controller or an accountant needed it on a specific day.
A PMS touches money and guests. We build defensively — double-post guards, audit trails and costing that reconciles — so the numbers are right when it matters.
ZIMRA fiscal compliance, multi-currency billing and Nightsbridge channel management aren't add-ons — they're built into the core because our properties need them.
